Job duties:
Leading Multi-Crop Transformation Facility dedicated to providing high quality plant transformation services to the scientific community developing protocols for transgenesis and genome editing for more than 20 different crops of commercial relevance, ultimately a University service provider, either as a fee based or co-investigation partner in grants, the facility deliver genetic modified/genome edited in vitro/ex vitro plants to basic research scientists, breeding programs, industry partners and other governmental/educational institutions. Potential novel intellectual property accomplishments and academic publications are also part of internal goals.
