Areas of Expertise

I am especially interested in adaptive cropping systems in the Texas High Plains that will improve growers’ ability to manage their programs in our ever-changing environment. My past research gave me the ability to assess alternative cropping systems in the Southern High Plains and Rolling Plains. My current research follows the same focus, comparing alternative cotton planting systems in the Texas High Plains. The semi-arid region provides a multitude of challenges for producers to be economically and agronomically viable while growing a cotton crop. My goal is to provide cotton producers with well conducted research and actionable information that will help them be economically viable for years to come.
