Scholarships

INCOMING FRESHMEN. Competitive scholarships in the Soil & Crop Sciences department are available for academically outstanding freshmen.

Criteria

  • Minimum combined Math and Verbal SAT score of 1250
  • Top ten percent of graduating class
  • Accepted in a major offered by the Department of Soil & Crop Sciences
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPR at Texas A&M, College Station
  • Maintain full time student status at Texas A&M, College Station

 

TRANSFER STUDENTS. Scholarships are available for outstanding transfer students in amounts up to $4,000 per year for two years, a total of $8,000.

Criteria

  • Minimum 3.2 GPA on at least 24 graded semester hours of transferable collegiate courses (can include up to 12 High School AP hours).
  • 12 credit hours in math and science.
  • Completed Freshman English (ENGL 1301 or equivalent).
  • Accepted in a major offered by the Department of Soil & Crop Sciences
  • Three letters of recommendation (2 – Academic, 1 – Personal)
  • Transcript from Registrar (all previous colleges)
  • Must maintain a 3.0 GPR while attending Texas A&M University
