Professional Summary

Research focus:
Leads TWRI’s watershed planning program and team to address water quality issues statewide by working with local stakeholders to identify and describe palatable voluntary solutions to restore water quality. To support these efforts, he focuses his research on 1) bacteria fate and transport in aquatic and soil environments; 2) watershed assessment, planning, management, and sustainability; 3) instream water quality monitoring; 4) best management practice efficacy evaluation and testing; 5) improving understanding of human health implications of emerging water quality issues; 6) improving water quality through stakeholder engagement; and 7) PFAS distribution, fate and transport in the environment.
