- My wife and I started Fertig Fertilizing 3 years ago with the goal to provide high quality lawn care with the absolute best customer service. We are growing fast and I'm looking to hire someone with the ambition and work ethic to help us continue to grow, while also growing with the company. You would be our first employee and would obviously start as a lawn technician working alongside myself. It is a physically demanding job in the extreme Texas heat. As we grow, you would be expected to transition to a management role to support lawn technicians below you and take over more business related opportunities. Job Duties Include: -Fertilizing and caring for residential turfgrass on home lawns in the Sugarland and Katy areas. -Training new employees. -Diagnosing problems with turfgrass and treating accordingly. -Providing friendly and helpful customer service when on a client's property. -Driving large trucks and occasionally pulling trailers in a safe manner. -Meeting with prospective customers. -Most hours will be spent outside. -No mowing or landscaping.
