Soil Scientist/Agricultural engineer/Environmental Engineer

USDA-ARS Grassland, Soil and Water Research Laboratory
Temple, TX
Job Category

Our lab is a part of the Long-Term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR) Network as well as the Conservation Effects Assessment Project (CEAP). We are looking for someone that can contribute to both of these projects, and are hopeful that we can find a person skilled in the analysis of big data. Both LTAR and CEAP are rich in geospatially explicit datasets, several of which are also long-term and high-frequency.

The position is being advertised as an Agricultural Engineer/Environmental Engineer/Soil Scientist, and is available at a GS-12 or GS-13 level, which is roughly equivalent to an assistant professor or early associate professor level.

U.S. citizenship is required
