Graduate research assistantship in the area of turfgrass weed science.

The student will be co-advised by Dr. Rebecca Grubbs (Turfgrass Science & Extension) and Dr. Muthu Bagavathiannan (Weed Science).

The associated project focuses on research and extension efforts to address herbicide resistance in annual bluegrass (Poa annua) in managed turfgrass systems.

Applicants should have a Master's degree in Turfgrass Science, Weed Science, Agronomy, Plant Biology or other related field, a strong work ethic and research skills. Ideally the student will have an innate interest in both Weed Science and Turfgrass Science and an interest in both research and extension.
