Description
Course Operation: Reynolds Lake Oconee is a 117-hole golf and lake community located in Greensboro, GA midway between Atlanta and Augusta. It was founded in the late 1980’s and now consists of six world class golf courses. We are seeking motivated individuals for our 2022 class of interns. Pairing with our leaders the selected individuals will learn and develop skills that will benefit each other, educationally, professionally, and personally. After on-boarding process, interns will be assigned a home course and paired up with a mentor superintendent as well as an intern adviser to assist them in getting the most out of their time on the team. The first week will be spent building relationships with your mentor, and setting goals for the summer. You’ll have the opportunity to: • Rotate through each of our different golf course maintenance operations. • Be exposed to all facets of golf course management, equipment management, and golf operations. • Attend multiple learning sessions to grow your knowledge and professionalism in a real-world setting. • Build leadership skills and acquire operational knowledge necessary to become a competitive job candidate.
Qualifications
Requirements: Enrolled in Turfgrass Management or related field, golf course experience a plus.
