Incoming Freshmen Scholarships
Scholarship Description
- Academically outstanding Freshman are eligible for a scholarship in amounts up to $1,000 per semester.
Scholarship Criteria
- Minimum combined Math and Verbal SAT score of 1250
- Top ten percent of graduating class
- Accepted in a major offered by the Department of Soil & Crop Sciences
- Maintain a 3.0 GPR at Texas A&M, College Station
- Maintain full time student status at Texas A&M, College Station

Transfer Student Scholarships
Scholarship Description
- Academically outstanding Transfer students are eligible for a scholarship in amounts up to $4,000 per year for 2 years, a total of $8,000.
Scholarship Criteria
- Minimum 3.2 GPR on at least 24 graded semester hours of transferable collegiate courses (can include up to 12 High School AP hours).
- 12 credit hours in math and science.
- Completed Freshman English (ENGL 1301 or equivalent).
- Accepted in a major offered by the Department of Soil & Crop Sciences
- Three letters of recommendation (2 - Academic, 1 - Personal)
- Transcript from Registrar (all previous colleges)
- Must maintain a 3.0 GPR while attending Texas A&M University

Aggie Leader Scholarship Applications now Available [top]
Scholarships & Financial Aid along with the Southerland Aggie Leader Scholarship Selection Committee are pleased to announce that the 2008- 2009 application is now available for students to submit.
These scholarships are limited to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who will have completed one long semester at Texas A&M at the time of application. Each recipient will receive up to $1,000 for the 2008-2009 academic year. Students can apply online at http://scholarships.tamu.edu.
