My Research interests focus on pest assessments to help reduce losses from weeds, insects, and diseases in agronomic and horticultural crops. My teaching involves working with entry-level
students to help them gain an orientation to agronomic programs, including natural resources, soil and water, crop improvement and management, and environmental stewardship (including turf and urban ag). The Senior Seminar course enhances career development, as students are about to graduate and seek jobs or continue into graduate school.
