Undergraduate Advising. My objective is to provide academic guidance to undergraduate students and prospective students, help them with college admission and readmission Mark H. Hallrequirements, work with them to establish degree programs, monitor their progress, solve curriculum-related problems, and maintain undergraduate student records for established degree programs. An additional responsibility is to serve as a central figure for the department in student recruiting for the department and college.

Teaching. One of our most popular courses is Agronomy 302, Recreational Turf, which is designed to be an overview of the world of turf for non-turf majors, as well as an introductory course for turf majors to build upon with more technical courses. I also teach AGRO 460, Problems in Agronomy - Plants, and AGRO 461, Problems in Agronomy - Soils. These courses fulfill the university requirement for “writing within the major”.
