As the state extension specialist for small grains and oilseed crops, I strive to facilitate networking and communication among producers, industry, and faculty. My research and extension efforts will focus on developing and disseminating current information and recommendations to small grain and oilseed producers across the state of Texas in order to promote environmentally and economically sound agronomic practices. Timely distribution of this knowledge gives producers the tools they need to make informed decisions for their farming enterprises.

I also coordinate the statewide Uniform Variety Trials (UVT) for wheat and conduct other agronomic studies with canola and soybeans.
