A graduate research assistantship is available in the field of crop science. The project will utilize a "global metabolomics" approach for designing seed treatment chemicals for improving soybean emergence under dry soil conditions.

Applicants must have an M.S. degree in crop science, agronomy, agriculture, environmental science, soil science or a related discipline.

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in metabolomics or analytical chemistry, excellent academic credentials and a proven record of scientific publication.

Applicant must meet the admission requirement of the graduate school at Clemson University, and should formally apply for admission.
