Internship expected to last 10 weeks.

The internship exposes students to many facets of agriculture. From collecting soil samples, to inspecting grazing lands, to meeting with major leaders in the agriculture industry, this internship will really get a student prepared for life after graduation.

The intern will work alongside our Land Managers to learn about best land-use practices and management. Lands that the intern will be working on include dryland, irrigated, orchards/vineyards, grazing, mining/mineral, as well as special-use such as solar and wind farms.

  • Full Time student who will be returning to school the semester following internship
  • Physically able to work alone or as part of a team in underdeveloped, remote, forested or back-country landscapes and terrain in all weather conditions
  • Current, valid driver's license with two years driving experience
  • at least 18 yrs old at time of hire
