One week internship during which the interns travel with USGA agronomists to a variety of golf facilities participating in the course consulting service. Interns will interact with USGA staff, course superintendents, course officials and green committees.
Interns are paid a stipend of $350, and all transportation, meals and hotel costs are paid by USGA.More information
Interns must be an undergraduate in a four-year program or graduate student majoring in agronomy, horticulture, or a related field, and returning to school the semester after the internship.
Must be interested in golf and turfgrass management and preferably have some experience working on a golf course, or playing the game.
